When we think of winning gold award in karate we think of tournaments. For dedicated karateka however, karate holds a much larger part in our lives than dojo floor training and tournaments. Karate is a wonderful path for self-enhancement and and growing as a centered, capable human being. Last May one of our members, Vered Golan, a 4-H graduate, delivered a fantastic presentation about Karate at the California 4-H State Field Day in UC Davis. Her presentation received a gold award, and we are very glad to share it here. Vered San Has graduated high school and will continue training with us as a college student.
